AT&T To Curb Smartphone Data Use

Author: Unknown Wednesday, December 9, 2009

AT&T investors talked about AT&T's compromised network.  According to Ralph de la Vega (chief executive of AT&T Mobility) Said the network in San Fransisco and New York are:   "performing at levels below our standards."  Nothing concrete was said about how or when Smartphone data will be curbed.  This has been a growing problem for AT&T for quite some time now, and they are working on upgrading the network, but upgrading the network will be a slow process.

Now there is absolutely no point to smartphones with curbed data.  If they limit how much data can be used on smartphones then phones like the Iphone would have most of it's services shutdown in a short period of time in leau of a new month to come.

According to Luke Wilson in the AT&T commercial their network is solid and can do so much, yet they are planning on limiting smartphone data usage, Interesting!  I really want to know what you all think, drop a line in the comments or message me on twitter.
